Swing for Change is Baltimore's community softball tournament and Community Impact Village, a day where nonprofits, businesses, churches, and neighbors come together for wellness, collaboration, and change. Hosted by Julie Community Center in partnership with GPS University, the event turns a ballpark into a hub of connection and civic pride.
Every pitch thrown and every dollar raised fuels grassroots programs across the city, from mental-health awareness and breast cancer initiatives with Susan G. Komen, to a $500 Community Impact Grant for the winning team's cause. Stronger together. Healthier together. Changing together.

Who can play?+
Anyone 16+ (16/17 with guardian consent). Teams can be corporate, nonprofit, or neighborhood-organized. Mixed-gender rosters encouraged.
Do I need to bring equipment?+
Bats, balls, and bases are provided. Bring your own glove and cleats if you have them.
Is the event family-friendly?+
Absolutely. The Community Impact Village includes a kids zone, food trucks, and free health screenings.
How are proceeds used?+
Net proceeds fund a $500+ Community Impact Grant awarded to participating nonprofits and neighborhood programs.
What if it rains?+
Rain date is Saturday, October 24, 2026. Registered players and sponsors are notified by 6 AM if postponed.
